I Know All Save Myself Alone

by Lisa Monde

He is best known for his “Testaments” and his “Ballade des Pendus”. Born in poverty in Paris in 1430s, François Villon was known to be a person of unrestricting life and even had a reckless way of living common among the wilder youth of the University of Paris.

Thus, playwright and author Lisa Monde has woven a historical drama that focuses on the life of this remarkable man in her play titled I Know All Save Myself Alone, first published in 2011. The new edition of the play is coming out this year – the newly edited book includes not only a freshly reworked manuscript, but also some pictures of the stage productions of I Know All Save Myself Alone over the years.

“I Know All Save Myself Alone”, the historical play by Lisa Monde becomes the winner of the Reader’s Choice Awards 2021 by TCK publishing in the Historical Fiction division! https://www.tckpublishing.com/
